Jasyoga Pro Tip: Take Your Yoga Outside

The sun is up early and out late, temps are rising — nature is calling you outside!

Luckily, it’s so easy to take your yoga beyond four walls. Rather than going straight inside after your workout, take off your shoes and do yoga barefoot in the grass! Or Hit Reset while catching some rays. The outdoor studio is always open — no mat required!

All you need is your phone! Do your favorite videos anywhere you have service. Camping, the beach, the park, wherever. Not a subscriber yet? Use code JASYOGAJULY18 by July 31 to start your free trial month including over 100 yoga for athletes videos.

Outdoor Pose Faves

Use one of our most popular outdoor routines, The Sunbather, or make a flow list of your own favorites that are perfect for doing anywhere. When in doubt, Reclined Hero with Goal Post Arms (in The Sunbather) is highly restorative. Also Pinwheel (shown above) is a potent hip stretch you can hit up anywhere.

Creative Props

Get creative with props! You might not have a wall, but a tree or fence will work just as well. A water bottle can be used in place of blocks, and a folded towel can make a great mat or bolster.

Recorded Meditations

Use a Pro Tip from the past and record a few of your favorite meditations to your phone. Play them back anywhere, anytime.
