You know working out gets results. What most athletes overlook is that working IN — optimized recovery — also gets results. You carefully plan your workouts and if you want to get the most out of those efforts, you need to value, plan, and commit to recovery as equally important. But working IN isn't about napping or writing "rest day" in your training journal. It's about using mental focus training and physical relaxation practices to intentionally shift gears from work to rest so that you can effectively absorb your effort and recharge for the next session.

To help you Work IN and recover for real, we've created the Athletes for Yoga Training Plan PDF, an easy-to-use planner to accompany Work IN book and Jasyoga Video to help you optimize your training and find the right balance of working out AND working IN. Use the Athletes for Yoga Training Plan to help you ground how to use meditation and restorative yoga to help you achieve your goals, practice strategically, and get real about how it's going. It's not intended to replace your current training log, but rather help you strategically plan your Work INs each week.
